Joseph La Madrid has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Joseph started their career as a Legal Assistant at Anser Law PC in 2015, where they worked until July 2015. From October to December 2015, they served as a Referral Agent at Adelin B. Mocanu & Associates, handling client referral and outreach, as well as attending court for adjournments and disclosure requests. In September-November 2015, they were a Paralegal Intern at Mazinani Law. From October 2015 to October 2016, they worked as a Paralegal Agent at Pointstoppers Canada. In 2018, Joseph joined Mason Caplan Roti LLP as a Legal Assistant (October 2018-October 2019) and later as a Paralegal (October 2019-September 2020). Joseph also had a temporary position as a Legal Assistant at Cartel Inc. from October 2018 to February 2019. Further, in 2021, they served as a Legal Assistant at Law Office of Mi Nguyen (March-November 2021) and Blaney McMurtry LLP (November 2021-March 2023). Currently, they are working as a Legal Assistant at Bird Construction since April 2023.

Joseph La Madrid obtained a Diploma in Paralegal from Herzing College in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Broadcast and Film from Centennial College between 2009-2011.
