Nick Kharouba

Project Manager at Bird

Nick Kharouba has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Technical Services Coordinator, Quality Control at Dufferin Concrete, where they gained knowledge in concrete production, testing, and quality control.

Nick then joined Bird Construction in 2016 and worked on various projects. Nick was involved in the construction of the York University Markham Campus, a 400,000 sq ft educational facility. Nick also worked on the Ontario Provincial Police Modernization project, where they contributed to the design and construction of nine new OPP stations.

In 2018, Nick worked on the Hamilton Biosolids Management Project and the East Rail Maintenance Facility - GO Transit project as part of the Bird Construction team.

In 2022, they joined Lifetime Developments as an Assistant Project Manager, where they handled the development of mixed-use high-rise residential projects. Nick oversaw pre-construction planning, design coordination, trade contractor management, and project administration. Nick worked on two specific projects, including a 30-storey mixed-use condominium and a 10-storey mixed-use condominium.

Nick is currently working at Bird Construction as a Project Manager, starting in 2023.

Nick Kharouba has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto. Nick is also certified as an Engineer in Training by Professional Engineers Ontario and as a LEED Green Associate by the Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC.
