P.eng Katrina Richard

Katrina Richard, P.Eng has a diverse work experience spanning over ten years. Katrina started their career in 2010 as a Sales Associate at Sears Canada, where they handled cash and credit card payments, replenished stock, and assisted customers on the sales floor.

In 2013, Katrina joined the City of Saint John as a Civil Engineering Technician summer student. During their time there, they measured, assessed, and interpreted asphalt road conditions, using MicroPAVER and ESRI software to develop a Pavement Condition Index for road repair recommendations. Additionally, they inspected sidewalks for public hazards and facilitated their subsequent repairs.

Katrina joined Bird Construction in 2016 as a Project Coordinator. In this role, they coordinated various project activities and ensured their smooth execution. Katrina'sresponsibilities expanded when they transitioned to the position of Project Manager in October 2019.

Throughout their career, Katrina has showcased their strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as their ability to effectively manage projects and coordinate teams.

Katrina Richard, P.Eng holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to their university education, they obtained a High School Diploma from Simonds High School, completing their secondary education from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Katrina has obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Bluebeam Revu 20" from LinkedIn in February 2022, "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in December 2021, "Construction Management: Concrete Construction" from LinkedIn in November 2021, "Gender in Negotiation" from LinkedIn in November 2021, and "Setting Limits with Your Smartphone" from LinkedIn in September 2021.
