Alexandru Bucur

Alexandru Bucur currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Bubty, focusing on improving hiring processes since March 2024. Previously, at MessageBird, Alexandru held roles as Staff Engineer and Lead Engineer, contributing to the development of SMS services and leading a team in implementing Kubernetes deployments and database optimizations. Prior experience includes serving as CTO and various engineering positions at Soft Dreams, where Alexandru oversaw a web development division and managed complex projects utilizing multiple PHP frameworks and CMS technologies. Alexandru co-founded Cluster CS, contributing to product development and user experience design, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Titu Maiorescu University.
