Spencer Tochterman

Spencer Tochterman has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Spencer began their career as an Accounts Receivable professional at San Luis Obispo YMCA from November 2007 to December 2009. Following this, they worked as a Financial Analyst, Parametric Estimator at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works from January 2010 to May 2011, where they created financial models and predicted production costs for development and manufacturing contracts.

Tochterman then joined Multidimensional Economic Evaluators as a Board Member/Co-Founder from January 2011 to April 2013. Here, they performed cost, value, and demand analysis to determine product strategy and built financial models for revenue forecasting.

In 2012, Tochterman joined Universal Music Group as an Analyst, where they generated financial models, tracked expenses, and assisted in audit responses until April 2013.

Spencer then transitioned to ServiceNow – The Enterprise Cloud Company, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst from April 2013 to February 2016. In this role, they managed expenditures, developed budgets and forecasting processes, and collaborated with cross-functional business leadership.

From June 2020 to November 2021, Tochterman served as a Senior Manager, Finance at Riverbed Technology. Spencer oversaw global go-to-market financial efforts, managed the P&L, and collaborated with executive staff to achieve performance objectives. Spencer also held previous roles at Riverbed Technology as Manager, Finance and Senior Financial Analyst.

Tochterman then joined Cloudflare in November 2021 as a Senior Manager, GTM Finance, responsible for financial planning and analysis. Spencer continued in this role until March 2023.

Currently, Tochterman is working as a Senior Manager, FP&A - Sales at Birdeye since March 2023.

Spencer Tochterman completed their education at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Spencer obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Delegating Tasks" in February 2020, "Developing Adaptability as a Manager," "Inclusive Leadership," "Leading Yourself," "New Manager Foundations," "Stepping Up to Leadership," "Transitioning from Individual Contributor to Manager," and "Working with Difficult People" in May 2019.
