Jie Guo-Thuermann

Jie Guo-Thuermann has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jie started their career as a Resident Doctor at The 2nd. Hospital of Tianjin Medical University from 2001 to 2002. Jie then worked as a European Product Manager at Mindray from 2008 to 2009. Following this, they operated as a Freelancer, specializing in Medical Device & Biotech business plan consulting from 2009 to 2013. Jie then joined SOMATEX® Medical Technologies GmbH as a Business Unit Manager from 2013 to 2019. Jie further held the position of General Manager at Birdotech Europe GmbH in 2019. Currently, they are working at BirdoTech as the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing since July 2021, and previously served as the Head of Global Marketing from 2020 to July 2021.

Jie Guo-Thuermann received a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Tianjin Medical University in 2002. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) and earned a degree in Biotechnology, specifically a Dipl.-Ing.
