Associate Professor Edlira Kalemi Vakaj

Dr. Edlira Kalemi Vakaj, FHEA, currently serves as the College of Computing Academic Lead for Research, Innovation and Enterprise and Senior Lecturer of Computing and Data Science at Birmingham City University since December 2019, having also held the role of Lecturer of Computer Science. Previously, Dr. Kalemi Vakaj was an Associate Professor at the University of Tirana from October 2014 to December 2019 and a Marie Curie Experienced Researcher at the University of Surrey from September 2016 to March 2018. Additionally, Dr. Kalemi Vakaj served as Vice Dean at Aleksander Moisiu University from September 2010 to October 2014. Educational achievements include a Post Doctoral degree in Knowledge Modeling and Domain Applications from the University of Surrey, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management Information Systems from the University of Tirana, a Master's degree in Informatics from the University of Tirana, and a Master of Science in Software Development and Design from South East European University.
