Antwanette Rice

Antwanette Rice is an experienced professional in exhibition coordination and event management, currently serving as the Exhibitions Coordinator at Birmingham Museum of Art since November 2019. In this role, Antwanette establishes teams for project areas and oversees the entire exhibition planning lifecycle, including budget management and project tracking. Prior to this position, Antwanette worked at Phifer Inc as a Trade Event Coordinator and Copywriter/Editor from October 2008 to September 2019, where responsibilities included executing major events and managing internal and external communications for multiple product brands. Antwanette's earlier career included positions as an Education Reporter for The Tuscaloosa News and an Editorial Intern at Birmingham Magazine. Antwanette holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a certification in holistic health and wellness from the Health Coach Institute.
