Rob Pickup

Rob Pickup currently serves as Director of Finance and Resources at Sandwell College since April 2023 and as a Member of the Board of Trustees - Audit Chair for The Hospice Charity Partnership since June 2019, where significant contributions were made towards the merger of two hospices for improved service resilience and financial viability. Previously, Rob Pickup held various leadership roles including CFO Advisor at R Pickup Associates, Interim Director of Operational Finance at NHS England – Midlands, and Chief Financial Officer at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, achieving notable financial improvements and operational continuity during the COVID pandemic. With extensive experience in financial management across healthcare organizations, Rob Pickup has consistently driven substantial savings and efficiencies, highlighted by efforts that led to a £500M reduction in regional planning deficits and a successful merger process for multiple trusts. Rob Pickup holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from The University of Sheffield.
