Lauren Goldman

Trip Leader at Birthright Israel Foundation

Lauren Goldman has a diverse work experience in various educational and travel organizations. Starting in 2015, they worked as an English Second Language Teacher at The Princeton Review. In 2016, they transitioned to Netivot HaTorah Day School where they worked as a French Teacher until 2017. In the same year, they joined the York Region District School Board as a Substitute Teacher, Core French Teacher, and later as a Special Education Resource Teacher. Lauren also worked as a Trip Leader at the Birthright Israel Foundation in 2018, and as a Trip Director & Trip Leader at Westcoast Connection from 2017 onwards.

Lauren Goldman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Lauren then pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Lauren has obtained several certifications. These include an Intermediate Division Additional Basic Qualification in Health and Physical Education from the Ontario College of Teachers in December 2016, an Open Water Diver Certification from PADI in August 2016, OCT Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers in June 2016, Special Education Part 1 from the Ontario College of Teachers in June 2016, and various first aid, CPR, AED, NLS, and Lifesaving Instructor Certificates from the Lifesaving Society Ontario in September 2008.
