Who You Are and What You’ll Do

As the Sales Director - West at Bishop Fox, you will lead a dynamic team of consultative sellers, driving our company's growth and strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas. Aligning to the sales strategy, the Sales Director defines and implements plans to achieve sales objectives.

In this position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the West territory, collaborating closely with RevOps to assess performance and develop actionable plans that yield results. As a member of the sales leadership team, you will engage with leaders across the Go-To-Market team to ensure a cohesive and seamless experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of their sales team in region; including monitoring performance, inspecting pipeline and deals, and coaching and mentoring AEs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Partner with Account Executives on territory and strategic account planning.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate performance of sales team
  • Achieve monthly quota goals with a high degree of forecast accuracy and predictability.
  • Lead weekly forecasting and business outcome discussions with sales representatives and leaders.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Partnerships, and Solution Engineers to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Partner with SVP, Sales and VP, RevOps on increasing efficiency of sales process and provide feedback on blockers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the sales team.

Your Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in consultative or solution-based selling for a professional services organization; cybersecurity experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing Sales teams.
  • Experience owning and driving revenue outcomes, exceeding personal and Sales team’s quotas.
  • Ability to track performance across the team and provide tangible feedback to improve performance and outcomes when needed.
  • Detail oriented, ensuring your team is accurately managing pipeline and partnering with RevOps on a clear picture of the business.
  • Ability to drive strategy and outcomes while also being willing to roll up your sleeves to address team gaps and hands-on needs.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
