Maricel Barroga

Maricel Barroga has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. They began their career in 2017 at the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General, where they worked in Human Resources until 2019. They then joined Bishop Museum as a Human Resources Coordinator from July 2019 to October 2021. Maricel was promoted to Manager of Human Resources in November 2021 and later became the Human Resources Director, a position they currently hold.

Maricel Barroga pursued their Master of Human Resource Management degree from the University of Hawai‘i - Shidler College of Business. Maricel attended this program from 2016 to 2017. Before that, from 2013 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Family Resource Management Studies, General from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
