Shirwa Abdullahi Adan has a strong background in the field of biomedical laboratory science. They began their career in 2012 as a Biomedical Laboratory Scientist at Region Midtjylland. After a year, they joined OUH Odense Universitetshospital – Svendborg Sygehus as a Specialist and later transitioned to the role of a Biomedical Laboratory Scientist. In 2019, they moved to Amager og Hvidovre Hospital as a Department Biomedical Laboratory Scientist. Following this, they joined Region Sjælland in 2021 as a Chief Biomedical Laboratory Scientist. Currently, Shirwa is serving as a Senior Chief Biomedical Laboratory at Bispebjerg Hospital, a position they have held since 2022.
Shirwa Abdullahi Adan completed their education with a Cand.scient.san degree in Sundhedsfaglig kandidatuddannelse from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of biomedical laboratory science as a Bioanalytiker from VIA University College. Mr. Adan began their educational journey at Kold College from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in HTX.
