Louise Traynor has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Louise started their career as a Director of Housing at The Mustard Seed from May 2011 to June 2013. Louise then joined the Canadian Mental Health Association as a Project Manager from March 2015 to August 2016. Currently, they are associated with Bissell Centre, where they have held several positions including Director of Community Programs & Services from August 2016 to September 2017, Senior Project Manager from September 2017 to April 2018, Director of Executive Projects from April 2018 to June 2019, Interim Chief Operating Officer from June 2019 to March 2020, and currently as the Chief Operating Officer.

Louise Traynor holds a Certificate in Renewable Energy Conservation from Lakeland College Canada, which they obtained in 2017. Louise also holds a Masters degree in Divinity from McMaster University, completed between 2004 and 2007. Prior to their Masters, they earned a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, which they completed between 1996 and 2001.
