Adam Thomas

Adam Thomas has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Adam is currently employed as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at bit.bio since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Twist Bioscience where they held multiple roles. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Marketing Strategy Manager, responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Market Development Scientist, managing the Innovation Lab and exploring new markets for the company's technologies. Adam also worked as a Technical Marketing Consultant from 2016 to 2018, where they contributed to scientific content and writing, and as a Technical Marketing Intern from 2015 to 2016, focusing on customer service and brand development. Before joining Twist Bioscience, Adam pursued a PhD at the University of Exeter from 2014 to 2018, where they specialized in applying evolutionary principles to synthetic biology and protein engineering.

Adam Thomas completed their education at the University of Exeter. From 2011 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosciences with a specialism in Molecular and Cell Biology. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Synthetic and Evolutionary Biology from 2014 to 2018.
