Keywa Henderson Thomas

Keywa Henderson Thomas has a diverse work experience in the field of communications. Keywa began their career in 2005 as a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at Orange County Government. Keywa later took on roles such as Assistant Public Information Officer, Communications Specialist (acting Manager), and Liaison to the Chief of Corrections (Communications leadership role). In 2016, they transitioned to become the Director of Communications at the State of South Carolina. Currently, they are the Communications Manager at Bitfocus, where they oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy to further the organization's goals and enhance relationships with stakeholders.

Keywa Henderson Thomas received their Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Mass Communications with a focus on Integrated Communications at the same institution from 2002 to 2004.
