Lauren Schuman began their work experience as a Senior Category Manager at Benchmark Brands in 2011. Lauren then moved on to roles such as Senior Manager of Online Merchandising, Promotions & Content and Director of Online Merchandising, Content & SEO. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as the Head of Site Experience at Fabric.com, an Amazon company. In 2015, they joined Experience LLC as the Director of Growth & Optimization, where they played a key role in driving exponential growth for the company. In 2017, they joined Mailchimp as the Senior Director of Product Insights & Growth before transitioning to the role of Director of Growth. Lauren later worked at Mural as the VP of Product Growth, and at Chief as a Member. Most recently, they joined Bitly as the VP of Product Growth in 2024.
Lauren Schuman completed their education with a Masters of Science in Marketing from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA in Marketing from James Madison University from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in Advanced Growth Strategies from Reforge and as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, achieved in the years 2019 and 2018 respectively.
