Waridah M.

Waridah M. has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2018, they worked as a legal attache at Milimani law courts in Nairobi, Kenya. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Associate Editor at the University of Nairobi Law Journal. In 2020, they also served as a Market Research Fellow at Impact Africa Network and as a Legal and Compliance Intern at Global Citizenship Foundation.

Throughout 2021, Waridah worked as a Research Assistant and Researcher at the Committee on Fiscal Studies, as well as a Research Assistant at the United Nations Independent Expert. Waridah also gained experience in the field of fintech as a Fintech Intern at CFTE - Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship, and later as a Fintech Marketing Analyst and FinTech Research Analyst.

In 2022, Waridah continued their work at the Committee on Fiscal Studies as a Program Officer and a Data Research Analyst. In 2023, they joined Bitrefill as a Junior Legal Researcher and TechUp Africa as a Data Science Mentee. Waridah's roles indicate a strong interest in research, data analysis, and legal work, as well as a passion for fintech and technology-driven solutions.

Waridah M. obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi.
