Rob Harrop

Rob Harrop is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as CTO at Bitso since June 2021, Rob has held prominent roles including Chief Technologist and Distinguished Engineer. Previously, Rob contributed as a Technologist in Residence at Accel and held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Skyscanner. Rob was the CEO and CTO of Skipjaq and co-founded Bamboo Limited, where strategic design of a custom lending platform was a key focus. With a rich background that includes co-founding Cake Solutions and SpringSource, Rob has been a core contributor to the Spring Framework and led significant projects at VMware. Rob holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Oxford.
