Simone Astuni

SVP of Customer Experience at Bizzabo

Simone Astuni has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. In 2008, they worked at Fluidmesh Networks as a Sales Engineer and Regional Sales Manager, contributing to the company's successful acquisition and exit. From 2011 to 2019, Simone worked at Vidyo, starting as a Sales Engineer and progressing to the role of Global Vice President, Sales Engineering. They were responsible for driving sales engineering and enterprise transformation, as well as rebuilding the Asia Pacific team and spearheading a strategic shift in sales approach. Since 2019, Simone has been working at Bizzabo, first as the VP of Solutions and Services and currently as the SVP of Customer Experience. They oversee various teams, including Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services, and ensure a unified approach to delivering value to customers.

Simone Astuni has a strong educational background in computer engineering. They completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering at Università degli Studi di Padova from 2003 to 2006. Subsequently, Simone pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering at the same university from 2006 to 2008. During this period, Simone also studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2008 and obtained another Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Simone has acquired additional certifications. In fall 2022, they attended CCO School at Pavilion and completed the program in December 2022. Furthermore, in May 2023, Simone obtained a certification in Revenue Architecture from Winning by Design. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuing education and professional development in their field.
