Jan Thor Larsen

Jan Thor Larsen possesses extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management, primarily in the medical devices and hardware sectors. As Manager of Mechanical Engineering at BK Medical GEHealthcare from January 2022 to July 2024, Jan led the development of Class III surgical products and managed teams both locally and globally, with a strong focus on Quality Management Systems (QMS). Prior roles include Hardware Manager at Demant and Technical Project & Personnel Manager at Oticon A/S, where Jan contributed to product development and team leadership for hearing instrument platforms. Jan's engineering career began as a Design Engineer at Schneider Electric and a Development Engineer at Nunc A/S, focusing on product design and quality. Jan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics from the Technical University of Denmark and a Craftsman degree in Blacksmithing from Ballerup Technical School.
