Kate Blocker

Kate Blocker has over 30 years of experience in marketing and communications. Kate is currently working as the Director of Marketing at Blach Construction Company since November 2016. Prior to that, they held the same position at Pearl Automation from November 2015 to October 2016. Before moving into director roles, they worked as a Marketing & Communications Consultant at communiKate from November 1999 to April 2015. Kate has also worked as a Sr. Director of Marketing Communications at Wave Systems from June 1999 to January 2000, and as a Director of Marketing Communications at Fujitsu PC Corporation from October 1996 to June 1999. Kate started their career at Acer America Corp. as a Sr. Manager of Consumer Marketing & PR from December 1993 to October 1996, and then as a Marcom & PR Manager at Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. from December 1990 to December 1993.

Kate Blocker attended Santa Clara University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Art History, History, French, and Italian.
