Nicole Cockayne MAICD has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Nicole served as the Director of Strategy & Operations at Black Dog Institute, where they led the coordination and management of the institute's strategic direction. Prior to that, they were a Clinical Research Manager at the Brain and Mind Research Institute, University of Sydney. Nicole also worked as a Business and Program Manager at Sax Institute and held multiple roles at NPS MedicineWise, including Senior Manager, Deputy Manager, and Program Evaluation Officer. Nicole Cockayne MAICD has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmacology and Psychology from the University of Sydney, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology, Clinical Trials, and Public Health Advocacy from the same university, which they completed from 2004 to 2005. In 2016, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors for a Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors program. Additionally, in 2017, they completed the Medical Device Commercialisation Training Program at Cicada Innovations, focusing on Medical Device Commercialisation.
