Aileen Agada

Aileen Agada is the Co-Founder and CEO of BeBlended, an online marketplace that connects clients with freelance hairstylists specializing in afro-curly hair textures. Aileen serves as an Expert in Residence and Entrepreneur in Residence at Black Founders Network and has held roles as a Venture Coach and Startup Mentor at LiftOff by CCAWR. As an alumni advisor and ambassador for NEXT Canada, Aileen was selected as one of 36 entrepreneurs in the 2020 Next 36 cohort. Previous experiences include working as a Venture Capital Analyst at Emerald Technology Ventures, a Student Entrepreneurship Coach at Velocity, and connecting students to government opportunities at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. Aileen holds a Master of Business in Entrepreneurship and Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering and Entrepreneurship from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Aileen participated in the Next 36 Program at the University of Toronto.
