Tamika Tretu currently serves as Vice President of Programs at Black Girls Code, holding various leadership positions within the organization since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tamika accumulated extensive experience in education as an Adjunct Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education, and served in multiple leadership capacities, including School Principal and Academic Director at Zeta Charter Schools. Tamika's earlier career includes roles at Success Academy Charter Schools, where responsibilities included supporting instructional leadership and teaching diverse students. Tamika holds a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Georgetown University and a Master of Education in Education and Special Education from Touro College Graduate School of Education.
