Johanna (Joey) Benson has extensive experience in finance and regulatory analysis within the energy sector, currently serving as Finance Manager at Black Hills Energy since October 2014. Previous roles include Manager, Regulatory & Finance, and Regulatory Analyst at the same company, as well as positions at Southern California Edison as a Power Systems Planner, where long-term power sales and peak demand forecasts were developed. Prior to that, Joey worked at Sauer-Danfoss as a Market Research Specialist and held multiple positions at MidAmerican Energy, including Engineering Analyst and Pricing Analyst II, focusing on forecasting, market analysis, and pricing strategies. Joey began a career in utility analysis at the Iowa Utilities Board as a Senior Utility Analyst.
