Bin Chen

Bin Chen has worked as a Sr. Staff Image Scientist at Black Sesame Technologies Inc since January 2017. Prior to that, they were a Senior Image Scientist at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. from June 2014 to January 2017. Bin also gained experience as a Research Intern at Philips from May 2013 to November 2013.

Bin Chen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Optical Information Science and Technology from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2006. Bin pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Optical Engineering from the same university from 2006 to 2008. Later on, Bin Chen attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Imaging Science from 2008 to 2015.
