V Thad Montgomery

Thad Montgomery, V has extensive experience in the land and energy industry. Thad currently holds the position of Vice President, Land at Black Stone Minerals, L.P. where they are responsible for managing the company's assets over approximately 2 million acres. Prior to their current role, Thad worked as the Director, Land and US Land Manager at the same company. Thad started their career at HPS Oil & Gas Properties, Inc. as a Certified Professional Landman, where they gained experience in various aspects of onshore land management, including leasing, title curative, and surface use agreements. Thad has worked on projects in multiple states, including Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, among others.

From 2000 to 2005, Thad Montgomery, V attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Thad'sfield of study during this time was Business Finance.
