Bruce Holmes

Bruce Holmes has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product design and marketing. Bruce has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as a Senior Product Designer at Black Swan Data. In this role, they focus on creating user experiences through data-driven solutions and collaborates with developers and stakeholders to ensure user-friendly and effective products.

Prior to their current position, Bruce worked as a Product Designer at xneelo (Pty) Ltd, where they were responsible for designing and developing server and cloud hosting solutions. Bruce conducted market research and created prototypes to test for usability.

Before joining xneelo, Bruce worked as a freelance UX/UI Designer, collaborating with clients to design and develop innovative products that met their business goals and requirements. Bruce conducted user research, developed wireframes and prototypes, and provided design support throughout the development process.

Bruce also has experience as a Product Designer at WhereIsMyTransport, where they developed wireframes and prototypes for new product ideas and provided design support to the engineering team. Bruce also assisted with the creation of marketing materials.

Bruce Holmes completed their high school education at St John's College Zimbabwe from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued Cambridge A Levels. In 2007, they obtained a Comptia A+ Computer Architecture certification from Comptia. From 2007 to 2008, they attended Varsity College, specializing in Computer Science. In 2008, they briefly attended Design School of Southern Africa, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, they studied at Vega Creative Brand Communications School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Creative Brand Communications, specializing in Multimedia.
