Joe Glassfield

Joe Glassfield has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Joe started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at London Metropolitan University in 2010. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Research Associate and later as a Senior Research Associate at System1 Research (formerly BrainJuicer), where they managed projects and clients, bringing behavioral economics to market research.

In 2016, they joined System1 Group as a Consultant and later became a Product Specialist in Labs, where they continued to provide consultancy services and worked on product development. Joe then worked as a Behavior Change Consultant at Croydon Council from April 2018 to November 2018.

From November 2018 to February 2020, they served as a Behavioral Scientist at Schwa, where they developed new tools and approaches, consulted clients on behavior change and marketing projects, and trained teams.

March 2020 to October 2020, Joe worked as a Behavioral Design Director at Corporate Culture, leading a team and creating solutions that combined behavioral science, design thinking, and contextual insight for clients such as HSBC, Essex County Council, Network Rail, and Transport Focus.

In 2020, they had two concurrent roles as a Behavioral Design Consultant at Glassfield, where they provided consulting, teaching, and research services to help build products and services, and as a Behavioral Scientist at Irrational Labs.

From January 2021 to January 2022, Joe served as the Design Thinking Lead at Container Solutions, where they led design thinking projects. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product Management at Black Swan Data since January 2022.

Joe Glassfield completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Psychology from London Metropolitan University, attending from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Product Analytics from Pendo.io in March 2023, in Product-led from Pendo.io in September 2022, and in Econometric Modelling and ROI Calculation from the Market Research Society (MRS) in October 2015.
