Tony M. has worked as a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Black Tower Security since March 2022, where they developed SOC support services and procedures, SIEM maturity models, and workload estimations. Prior to this, they were a Senior Cybersecurity Instructor at RapidAscent from October 2022 to March 2023, where they designed Cyber Security training and led live classes. From February 2015 to February 2022, Tony was a Cyber Security Engineer at Optiv, where they received multiple awards, trained and mentored engineers, and took responsibility for the quality of their work product. Tony also worked as a SOC Manager at Threat Angler from January 2020 to May 2021, where they provided leadership and guidance in best practices related to incident handling and response, and developed and maintained metrics to improve the overall security posture in clients' SIEM and SOC services.

Tony M. has completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Technology from The University of Texas at Dallas. In addition, they have obtained several certifications such as Devo Certified Platform User from Devo in March 2022, LRSE LogRhythm Support Engineer Certification from LogRhythm in October 2020, Certified System Administrator from ServiceNow in 2020 and several more certifications.
