John Gladman

John Gladman is a seasoned software and design engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at BlackBerry since April 2010, John specializes in the design, integration, and testing of the LTE protocol stack, focusing primarily on the RLC and MAC layers. Prior to BlackBerry, John held the position of Senior Design Engineer at Qasara, contributing as a lead developer for the LTE protocol stack, and worked at Motorola TTPCom Product Group, where John was involved in the development and integration of Physical Layer software for dual-mode handsets. John has also held engineering roles with Symbionics/Cadence/Tality, Torus Ltd., and TDC Ltd., beginning a professional journey after graduating from the University of Kent.
