Brian Finnegan

Brian Finnegan has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Brian started their career at the University System of Georgia in 1999 as a Project Manager and later became an Associate Director and then Director of Emerging Instructional Technology. In 2002, they joined the University System of Georgia as the Director of Emerging Instructional Technology and later became the Executive Director of Innovation Support. In 2009, they joined Blackboard Collaborate as a Senior Implementation Consultant. Brian then joined Blackboard in 2013 and held multiple roles including Director of Analytics Consulting, Director of Implementation Consulting, and Director of Business and Government Consulting. Currently, Brian Finnegan is serving as the Senior Director of Product Management and Marketing - Global Client Experience at Blackboard.

Brian Finnegan attended Saint Joseph's University from 1990 to 2000, though no degree or field of study was specified. Furthermore, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at The University of Georgia. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brian obtained certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Lean Portfolio Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2021.
