Heather Woods

Heather Woods has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Heather started their career in 2002 as a Graduate Instructor/Instructor at the University of Minnesota, where they worked until 2012. In 2005, they briefly worked as an Instructor at St. Olaf College. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Quality/Data Specialist at Saving Sight.

In 2014, Heather joined Blackboard, where they worked for several years. Heather initially started as a Solutions Engineer and later took on the role of Sr. Solutions Engineer. From 2020 to 2021, they held the position of Director of Client Experience Management. Currently, they hold the title of Senior Director of Client Experience at Blackboard.

Heather Woods holds a PhD in Classical and Near Eastern Studies: Latin from the University of Minnesota. Heather also has a Master of Arts degree in Classical and Near Eastern Studies: Latin from the same university. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics from Truman State University. Additionally, they hold certifications in Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion from LinkedIn, AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services, and an Educator's Certificate: Latin K-12 from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, which they obtained in August 2014.
