Michael Vozzella

Manager of Recruiting at Black Diamond Networks

Michael Vozzella began their career in 2007 as an Account Manager at Oxford International where they completed an average of 200 cold calls a day to potential clients and conducted a minimum of 40 in person meets per month with various clients. Michael earned MVP Account Manager for the entire country. In 2008, they moved to Starpoint Solutions as a Technical Recruiter/Account Manager and built an entire personal database of contract and permanent candidates from scratch through various sources spread across diverse backgrounds. Michael also established a positive reputation within the staffing industry resulting in mass amount of referrals and placed a generous amount of candidates with contract, temp-perm, and permanent employment starting from their second month of work. In 2010, they joined Corporate Technologies as a Senior Technical Recruiter and exceeded margin goals on 100% of placements. Michael also achieved all monthly goals consisting of consultant placements, database adds of consultants, companies that are hiring, and managers that use consultants. In 2012, they joined Black Diamond Networks as Manager of Recruiting and was responsible for implementing Black Diamond best practices and methodologies across APBiosciences. Michael also oversaw daily/weekly meetings for production, lead generation, and recruiting tactics for various departments throughout both Black Diamond and APBio (Life Sciences & Technology, Clinical, Software/Hardware, Etc.) Michael trained Senior Recruiters to become Lead Recruiters and continued to maintain an individual GP of over $2 million each year. Michael then moved to Recruiting Lead - Local Services Life Sciences where they were responsible for heading up Recruiting efforts for new start-up division, and was awarded the 2017 & 2018 Diamond Club Award. Michael also trained the 2018 Rookie of the Year. In 2015, they moved to Recruiting Lead - National Life Sciences, where they were awarded the 2016 Diamond Club Award and 2015 Platinum Club Award. Michael managed and trained new recruiters in the Life Sciences Division, both local and national sectors. Finally, in 2014, they were awarded the Diamond Club Wild Card Award as #1 in the company for generating the most GP over a calendar year (new business only) as a Senior Technical Recruiter - National Life Sciences.

Michael Vozzella completed their high school diploma at Stoneham High School in 1999. Michael then attended Northeastern University and earned a Bachelors in Management/Marketing in 2004.
