Dominic Brady

Dominic Brady is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in electronics and hardware design across multiple industries. Currently serving as Hardware Team Lead at Blackmagic Design since February 2020, Dominic specializes in FPGA-based high-speed designs for video, overseeing projects from system architecture to mass production. Prior experience includes leading embedded electronics projects at Dyson, focusing on machine learning and vision systems, and managing electronics for the TomTom Sports & Fitness wearables range, ensuring high-volume mass production. Dominic's career began at Cosworth Racing Limited, developing hardware and software for motorsport applications, followed by a role as Senior Engineer at Goodrich Power Systems, producing specifications for aircraft generator control units. Education includes a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University.
