Mark Spoto

Mark Spoto is a board member at BlackSky and has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industries. Mark was previously a co-founder and managing partner at Razor's Edge Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investments in the aerospace and defense industries. Mark also served as chairman and member of the board of directors at HawkEye 360, a company that provides geospatial intelligence solutions. Mark has also served on the boards of 908 Devices, Ursa Space Systems, BlackSky, and Mersive. Mark is a partner at Cooley LLP, a law firm specializing in the aerospace and defense industries, and has also worked as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Company.

Mark Spoto attended Georgetown University Law Center from 1992 to 1995, where they earned their J.D. in Law. Mark was also active in the Georgetown Law Journal. Prior to that, they attended Boston University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned their B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. Mark was also a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and Tau Beta Pi.
