Pushpa Pathmanathan

Pushpa Pathmanathan has a diverse work experience in software development and management roles. Pushpa is currently working as a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer at Blackstone Energy Services Inc. from January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Navotar Inc as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2020 to December 2020.

Pushpa has a long tenure at SQI Diagnostics, where they held multiple roles. From December 2016 to February 2020, they served as a Software Development Manager, overseeing a team of developers, testers, and Coop students. Pushpa'sresponsibilities included system design, architecture of the core software, and integration of AWS cloud database. Before that, from June 2010 to December 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on automated testing, ISO environment, and assisting other developers in designing and developing new and existing applications.

Prior to SQI Diagnostics, they worked at Creditron as a Senior Developer from January 2010 to June 2010. Earlier, they worked as a Consultant at an undisclosed company in 2009, where they were involved in R&D for a Vehicle Rental System and developed web and windows services applications.

In their early career, they held the position of Lead Application Developer at Synergex from August 2006 to September 2009, where they developed an application for demand planning using VB.Net and SQL. Pushpa also worked as a Software Engineer at The ITM Group Inc from November 2002 to July 2006, where they contributed to the development of a web-based project management tool called MyTask.

Pushpa'scareer began as an Application Developer at TCCom from May 2002 to July 2002, and before that, they worked as an Application Developer at Eutech Cybernetics (Pvt) Ltd from August 2000 to March 2002, where they developed applications using Visual Basic, Visual C++, and SQL Server.

Pushpa Pathmanathan obtained a B.Sc. Honours degree in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 1994, they also received a Diploma in Computing from the Australian Computer Society. Pushpa then pursued a certificate in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, completing the program from 1996 to 2000. Prior to their university education, they attended Colombo Hindu College from 1981 to 1993, where they obtained their high school/secondary diplomas and certificates. In 2011, Pushpa studied the Foundation of Project Management at the University of Toronto, though they did not obtain a degree from this program. Pushpa also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they acquired in March 2012.
