Grace Johnson has a diverse work experience in engineering. Grace started their career in 2019 as a Research & Development Project Engineer at Vert, where they conducted testing of a Vert air-compressor. In 2018, they served as the Chassis Team Manager and later as the Head of Sponsorship and Outreach at Edinburgh University Formula Student, where they led teams in designing and manufacturing a race-car chassis and bodywork.

Grace then interned as a Composite Design Engineer at Renault Sport Racing in 2020, where they managed the design process and undertook fault-fixing tasks within the F1 division.
