Dan Barrett Miet

Dan Barrett MIET has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Dan started their career in 2017 with various roles as a Client Representative for companies like Innogy Renewables UK Ltd, Nordsee One GmbH, EDF Renewables UK, DeepOcean, and DONG Energy. Dan gained experience in roles such as Cable Installation, Foundations Remedials, Shore End Engineer, and Foundation Remedials and EFK.

In 2018, Dan joined MERKUR Offshore GmbH as a Client Representative and Assistant Commissioning Manager for WEC Commissioning. Dan also worked as an Offshore Plant Acceptance Manager for the Cable Package.

In 2019, they worked for Ørsted as a Client Representative for Foundations and Scour Protection.

Dan Barrett MIET has a diverse education history. Dan obtained an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UNICOURSE. In 2016, they pursued further education in Renewable Energy at HeatSpring. Additionally, they completed a Professional Continuing Education program in Energy Finance also at HeatSpring. Prior to their higher education, Dan attended Campbeltown Grammar School.

In addition to their formal education, Dan has obtained several certifications. These include Commercial Diver HSE Part 1, 3 and 4 from the Health and Safety Executive, Commercial Solar PPAs 101 from HeatSpring, Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management from IEMA - Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, General Certificate - NGC 3 Practical from NEBOSH, IADC WellCAP from the International Association of Drilling Contractors, Inshore Diving Supervisor from the Association of Diving Contractors International, Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Installation from City and Guilds, and Managing Safely from IOSH.
