Mickey Lanning

Mickey May-Wright is an experienced collections and research professional with a diverse background in art and archival management. Currently serving as a Collections Assistant at the Blanton Museum of Art, responsibilities include cataloguing and overseeing the care of recent acquisitions while collaborating with curators to manage an extensive collection. Previous roles include serving as a Collections Database Cataloguer at the Texas Legislative Reference Library, where in-depth research on legislative topics was conducted, and various internship positions focused on photo archiving and educational resource development at esteemed institutions such as the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and the University of Texas at Austin. Mickey May-Wright holds a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin and possesses valuable experience in digital projects, reference services, and archival processing.
