Ramji Pilapakam

Ramji Pilapakam has extensive experience in product management and engineering. Ramji began their career in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer at Motorola Inc. During this time, they were part of the core team that designed the service layer framework on a proprietary platform architecture, developed two new software components, and identified opportunities to improve throughput. In 2004, they joined Motorola as a Principal Staff Engineer and Sr. Software Staff Engineer, where they architected and led the ground up development of an IMS client application on Windows Mobile. In 2013, they moved to Yahoo! as a Product Manager, and in 2019 they became the Director of Product Management at Blendid.

Ramji Pilapakam completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master of Science (MSc) in Physics and Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani between 1991 and 1996. Ramji then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from University of Minnesota Duluth between 1996 and 1998. Subsequently, they completed their MBA in Marketing, Economics, Finance, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2012.
