Niki Schalken

Niki Schalken is a seasoned psycho-social therapist and counselor currently affiliated with 5 Step Therapy since February 2018 and serving at Blijf Groep since October 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Participation Coach at Cordaan, where Niki was involved in establishing and supporting a community center focused on mental health in Amsterdam Southeast. Niki has also worked as a Mental Health Professional at Trompendael and a psychosocial caregiver at Goodwillcentra Amsterdam, emphasizing recovery-oriented practices and positive psychology. Additional roles include contributing to suicide prevention at Stichting 113Online and a background in international sales and as a flight attendant. Niki holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychosocial therapy as well as psychodidactic training completed from 2012 to 2016.
