Anne Marie Taggart

Anne Marie Taggart is a seasoned professional in public administration and human resources with extensive experience in various leadership roles, currently serving as General Manager People Sustainability and Place and Chief People Officer at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand since January 2023. Anne Marie holds board member positions at KiwiClass and Blind Low Vision NZ, while also providing executive coaching for the Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission from July 2022 to January 2023. Previously, Anne Marie held significant positions at the New Zealand Customs Service, overseeing Service Development and Border Operations, and was involved in strategic communications at the New Zealand Transport Agency. Anne Marie earned an Executive Masters of Public Administration from ANZSOG and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Edith Cowan University.
