Richard Neate

Richard Neate has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Richard currently serves as a trustee for The Sarah Hughes Trust, a charity founded in memory of journalist Sarah Hughes. Richard previously held the position of Head of Customer Service and Data Management at Blind Veterans UK. Richard also worked at University College London as the Interim Executive Head of Supporter Operations and at Sense as the Interim Head of Fundraising Operations. Prior to that, they were the Interim Director of Supporter Relationship Management at The Children's Society and the Head of Supporter Care at Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Richard's earlier roles include Supporter Care Manager at Asthma UK and Team Leader at The Children's Society.

Richard Neate obtained a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from the University of Kent, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they pursued further studies in American Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1991 to 1992, although they did not complete a degree during this period.
