Ron Ferens

Ron Ferens has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Ron began their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer at Zoran Microelectronics. In 2010, they joined Intel Corporation as a Research Team Lead and Algorithm and Software Engineer. In 2017, they moved to Magic Leap as a Senior Research Engineer. In 2019, they joined Huawei Technologies as a Research Team Lead. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Director of Architecture and AI at Blink Technologies, Inc.

Ron Ferens is currently a PhD Candidate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bar-Ilan University. Previously, they obtained an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University in 2009 and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006. Ron also holds certifications in Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) Specialization from deeplearning.ai (2020), Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai (2019), Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Boot-camp from Udemy (2017), and Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates (2015).
