Colonel Tarun Vohra

Colonel Tarun Vohra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Colonel Tarun started their career in 1998 as an Army Officer in the Indian Army, where they held various roles, including Commanding Officer of a specialized Regiment of Artillery and Director of Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain. During their time in the Indian Army, Colonel Vohra achieved high operational readiness rates and successfully managed the procurement of stores under the Army Commander's Special Financial Powers Fund. Colonel Tarun also completed a Defense Services Staff Course, earning a degree in Masters for Defense Strategic Studies.

In 2007, Colonel Vohra joined the United Nations as a Major Staff Officer, gaining extensive international exposure through deployment at the UN Mission in Lebanon. Colonel Tarun contributed to supply chain management, inspections, and financial analysis, ensuring proper financial remunerations for troop-contributing countries.

In 2020, Colonel Vohra transitioned to the corporate sector and joined Amazon as a Senior Operations Manager. Colonel Tarun led one of the largest Sort Centers in the Middle Mile Network, scaling the site eight times in just six months and driving a major automation change to increase capacity. Later, they held the position of Senior Manager, Shipping and Delivery Support Operations, where they managed a large team, solving challenges faced by customers, delivery associates, shippers, property managers, and storage owners at a global level.

Currently, Colonel Vohra serves as the Vice President of People Ops at Blinkit, a position they assumed in 2023.
