Maryama Warsame

Maryama Warsame has a diverse work experience starting from 2019. Maryama worked as an Assistant at MN Interpreting Services LLC from September 2019 to August 2022. From March 2021 to August 2022, Maryama served as a Youth Environmental Advocate Member at Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy. Maryama then worked as a District 2 Representative at Minnesota Alliance With Youth from August 2021 to June 2022. Maryama's next role was as a Community Organizer at Register Their from March 2022 to August 2022. In 2023, they joined Carolyn Foundation as a Climate Change Committee Intern from February 2023 to May 2023, followed by a role as a Community Member at BLK Capital Management, Corp starting in January 2023. Maryama also participated in the Immersion Mentorship Program at PwC from January 2023 to May 2023 and will be joining Capital One in 2023 as a Business Analyst Intern.

Maryama Warsame completed their high school education at Rosemount Senior High School from 2019 to 2022, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they attended NYU Stern School of Business from 2022 to 2026, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business and Political Economy. Additionally, in 2021, Maryama participated in the Global Citizen Year program, obtaining a certification in Leadership as a Practice.
