Walter H. Lovell

Walter H. Lovell has extensive work experience in the construction and real estate industry. Walter H. has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Walter H. started as a Project Manager/Project Engineer at Burns & McDonnell in 1980, where they were involved in managing engineering projects. Walter H. later worked as a Director of Projects at Wagner Hohns Inglis, Inc (WHI) from 1984 to 1987, where they specialized in project controls and construction management.

From 1987 to 1999, Lovell served as Vice President at CCL Construction Consultants, Inc., where they provided project management services and helped resolve construction claims. Walter H. then worked as a Construction Manager at JE Dunn Construction from 1999 to 2001, where they managed self-performed work, subcontractors, and budgets.

Lovell's career further progressed when they joined Applebee's in 2001 as the Director of Construction. Walter H. was responsible for managing the planning and construction of corporate restaurants and provided consultation to franchisees on their projects. Walter H. also oversaw the approval process and managed contractors and vendors.

In 2008, Lovell became the Vice President of Construction at AMC Theatres, where they led the planning and construction of new multiplex theaters. Walter H. obtained permits, managed contractors, and ensured compliance with overall master site development plans.

From 2010 to 2012, Lovell worked at Centralized Supply Chain Services (CSCS) as a supply chain strategist and negotiator for equipment and FF&E. Walter H. developed cost reduction programs and supported numerous locations with a large annual revenue.

Lovell's next role was at Main Event Entertainment, where they served as Vice President of Development from 2012 to 2016. Walter H. managed real estate, design, and construction departments, implementing best practices and contributing to the company's significant growth.

From 2016 to 2018, Lovell joined JLL as a Vice President, leading their Project and Development Services group. Walter H. oversaw the design and construction of various real estate projects, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and processes.

Most recently, in 2019, Lovell became the Vice President at Block Real Estate Services, where they facilitated the real estate development process and handled construction and development projects in different sectors.

Throughout their career, Lovell has acquired expertise in project management, construction management, supply chain strategies, and cost reduction programs.

Walter H. Lovell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Walter H. also obtained an M.B.A. degree from The University of Kansas.
