Alex Oberhauser

VP, Solutions Architecture & Innovation at Blockchains

Alex Oberhauser has been in the blockchain space since 2010. He started his entrepreneurial carrier during his undergrad in computer science in Innsbruck, Austria. During his work for the Semantic Technology Institute, he made his first academic publication, worked on various European research projects, and was part of an academic spin-off founding team currently expanding to the U.S. market. Alex founded the company Sigimera Ltd to bring cutting-edge technologies to the market, including but not limited to a natural disaster information platform for search and rescue efforts and a social Bitcoin crowd-funding platform. There, he led two research teams in Amsterdam, The Netherlands designing two non-crypto asset blockchains from the ground up – all before Ethereum was a “real thing.” He founded Cambridge Blockchain Inc, blockchain-based digital identity management and compliance software solutions, provider. He served as Chief Technology Officer and board member up to the point when Blockchains acquired the company.
